WHO, WHAT, WHERE

DS Girls Lacrosse exists for the girls of Dover and Sherborn.  We are a developmental lacrosse program and we offer appropriate competition for players of ALL levels.

We play in the FOUNDERS LEAGUE.  www.fgll.org

Our goal is to involve parents from both Dover and Sherborn with daughters in all age groups.  If you are willing to help out and take responsibility for an aspect of the organization, please let us know.  We would love to have you involved!

We currently offer lacrosse for girls in grades 1 through 8. 

New players are welcome at EVERY grade.

Our programs are made of 2 grades each: 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8.

Currently, we have 2 teams per program.

We make every effort to balance the teams based on the following:

TALENT

TOWN

Each program has a HEAD COACH. (This person is not necessarily a volunteer.)

Each team has at least 3 very important VOLUNTEER roles:

COACH

ASSISTANT COACH (or co-coach)

MANAGER.

We are likely to have 8 games a season: 4 home and 4 away against local opponents.

Drive time to opponent’s fields varies by age of players. The younger the player, the closer the game, ideally.

Our younger players practice and play on LAUREL FIELDS.

Our 5/6 (and sometimes older) players play on CARYL FIELD

Our 7/8 teams and select players play at DS, on turf as available.
