Drills for home

Our goal is to put on-line some of our favorite drills for girls who want to improve their stickwork!

Here's one to start with:  WALL BALL

Stand about 5 feet from a solid wall, a brick wall is good, a cement wall…not your parents garage door…you’ll put a hole in it!

Some Helpful Hints:

  •  The angle that the ball hits the wall is the angle that it is going to come back at you, therefore it is best to hit the wall square, not throwing the ball up to the wall or down at the wall.
  •  Throw the ball hard at the wall, take a step back if you need to, but when you throw hard the ball comes back at you like you are receiving a good pass!

It takes practice!  Don't be discouraged your first few times doing Wall Ball.  A lot of Wall Ball makes great lacrosse players!
